Every task carried out has some thing to learn some things to ponder and some things to correct our ways-not others.In this journey we also collect and come across people pulling it down ignorantly with out knowing the consequences.

Rumours and talking ill of others, backbiting,imagination, fear of shadow-fear of being left out,positions,suspicion,ego etc.Spending most of the time in judging others.This is the Maya and perfect platform for downfall and loosing the focus!

We also have wonderful people that enjoy and progress in their spiritual pursuits which is the real goal.

May be the Karma factor has a role to play-to err is human is one of the norms for corrections.

We should recall Bhagawan's words during Sivarathri "Nothing is permanent but the good thoughts and the work carried out-be careful about the lurking thief trying to misguide you from the Divine path"-Have faith-self confidence-Atma Viswasam.

In this context here is a wonderful compilation by our Brother Dr.Ratnakar who is giving a medico- spiritual prescription.This is a must for all spiritual aspirants that are seeking happiness and change in their life towards Divine path and progress.

My dear I will like you all to make copies and distribute in all Sai centers,on behalf of Ananda Sai. We may make some kind of dairy and write (score) how many we follow on daily basis. I guess you would all like our contribution. yours, ratnakar Handbook 2009 A. Health: 1. Drink plenty of water. 2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar. 3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured . 4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy. 5. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. 6. Play more games. 7. Read more books than you did in 2008. 8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. 9. Sleep for 7 hours. 10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. or at least thrice in week,And while you walk, smile. B. Personality: 11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their Journey is all about. 12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment. 13. Don't over do. Keep your limits. 14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 15 Don't waste your precious energy on gossip. 16. Dream more while you are awake. 17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need. 18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with His/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness. 19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others. 20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present. 21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you. 22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime. 23. Smile and laugh more. 24. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. C. Society: 25. Call your family often. 26. Each day give something good to others. 27. Forgive everyone for everything. 28. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6. 29. Try to make at least three people smile each day. 30. SPRITUAL STOCK INDEX-SSI

We are now coming to the concluding weeks of the 83rd Birth day events with a special focus on Nagarasankirtan and Bhajans (ironically that includes Bhojan & high prasadam in some cases)
While we are at it,it is equally important we need to asses the impact we could make on our self and others? What is the stock position?

I am looking at what you and I should do?As we do not have control on what others should do?
Are we able to induce fresh and new people in to the organization and hold?Are we able to let know others what we are doing, other the routine? Are we spending some time at the end of the bhajan session narrating the service opportunities available and appeal for participation and creating an ambiance for people to come in?

Now as we are close to concluding,it is worth spending some time in our congregations on these thoughts and more on this please!

Faculty for Sri Sathya Sai University

This is to intimate and request your help for providing certain faculty for our SRI SATHYA SAI UNIVERSITY at Prasanthinilayam.The university needs the following types:Faculty for post graduate class subjects such as chemistry, biology, physics,zoology, botany, computer sciences etc.Must be qualified and in good health and be willing to relocate to prasanthinilayam where accommodation will be provided.Also experienced and retired persons who are other wise qualified also are most welcome.

Also let us know whether you would like to be considered as a visiting faculty and if so how much time you can spend in a month or an year for visiting.The appropriate faculty will be those who have sufficient experiance and exposure in recognised and reputed universities in India.All the samithi conveners and others who receive message are kindly requested the undersigned for details and their area of interest soonest.

DATA BASE MANAGER NOMINATION

We are delighted to intimate that our sevadal activity in terms of magnitude and direction is on the increase at home and in PN along with the increse in service activities. In order to cope up with this volume,we are very pleased to nominate one of our senior members Sri K.Krishnakumar garu (Vanasthalipuram) as a Data base manager to handle the activity concerning, listings, duties, postings, updating,dispatches,recruitment and finally reporting.

He will be contacting all our Samithi conveners/unit in charges from time to time and as and when necessary to update the data base. Core group data base is another area of his concern as well. He will be also be in touch with Sri PC Sastry garu and our District service coordinator Sri Ramana Reddy garu in all these tasks.

We appeal and request all brothers to cooperate and assist him to make this assignment successful and enjoyable. We pray once again to our Swami to shower HIS grace on our brother Krishnakumar and his family.

Dear Brothers and sisters, Sairam and good day!

It is quite some time since we are active in the SSS VIP tasks in the Hyderabad district.I am happy to inform you that we have very substantial participation and progress in services in 10 villages around the city of Hyderabad.I am glad we are able to connect with the village folk and our senior members and youth wings have really been working hard in spite of the routine job pressures and avocations they are involved at home and in their careers.We have rewarding experiance from the village folk!

I appreciate and realize that this has been possible by HIS will and your love for HIM.It is not not that easy to be available week after week and be present in the unscheduled SSSSO meetings.In this process,we recognized such wonderful set of people we have here with us in our organization.But it is happening because of HIS back up and grace.He is just doing this for our good sake!

As we go along this journey,I begin to realize more and more how insignificant we can be or problems can be?Looking back I could not imagine that we can mobilize so much of resource in men, material and help from unexpected quarters in so many ways! Great and good productive ideas are being offered by many brothers and sisters.

We are able to connect to the best of brains from the city elite in this process.We still have unexplored avenues in plenty!I reckon that all our brothers and sisters should recognize and realize that how fortunate we are to be in HIS mission of the Avatar? Could you recognize how beautifully HE engaged you and me?

It is unbearable pain when I hear, some one tells me directly or indirectly that they do not know what is happening? or some one say they did not tell me? or no body bothered to tell me? or Am I supposed to be in SSS VIP?Or some one say, no need, I can be different?Or some one say that some body told me that all need not participate? Some one say" Do you think I am useful"?

Bhagawan when he created this facility said" every body including the old , the young children(men,women,youth) must participate in this programme for their own good.
Members must be focused and participate in the Organization designed programmes and not create your own! If you do,it will dilute your resources in men,materials and finances and your thoughts even! be careful!-your journey will be out of track-shunted to goods yard?

We have been making and creating several routes to let people know what we are doing and what you have to do collectively? I have been explaining this aspect in our Samithi meets.We know,we still need to do a lot more and we will do it with HIS power and our effort!But you too have a part in this mission-you have God given skills (positive) that need to be offered at HIS lotus feet even though----some one does not invite you specifically-we need to look for opportunities to serve-how? where? and what? is your purview too! We know that we do not do this for the DP or HS?

Gone are the limits to wait until some one tells and some one does-This can happen in places where wages are paid.Here-be creative,innovative and be part of it! Say "I am here to take this responsibility".But this must be honest,sincere and with love for HIM.There will be obstructions,there will be humiliations,but there is joy and bliss waiting too, at the end of the tunnel.

We look forward to your participation and joining us to be with our groups serving in villages round the clock in thought and on week ends physically.
