Daily Divine routine at Sivam.

Here is the daily divine routine that occurs at Sivam.
This is for the information for you,your friends,relatives and fellow devotees.
Around 4.30am, interested Sevadal Volunteer(s) go to Sivam and open the mandir with possible 'no noise'(as Swamy is resting), open the windows and light up a dull light and lit up two agarbattis to offer dhoopam.
Then, do a bit of seva by clearning up the stair case(s) on both sides of the mandir and surrounding areas; including the Ganesh Maharaj & Lord Siva's block. (If time permits, even lit up two oil lamps to be placed in front of Ganesh Maharaj.)
From about 4.40am onwards, devotees keep coming and we ensure absolute silence as much as possible; and all the bright lamps are switched off at 5.00am.
5.00 am - Ghanta Raavam (5 times)
- Followed by AUM KAARAM 21 times
- Suprabhatam is recited by ONE (only) of the experienced/SENIOR devotees
(Some times it is recited by all when Zonal Group(s) participate in this. This
entire event takes about 15 minutes. )

5.15 am - Break off silently and proceed for Nagar Sankeeratan, if there is one and return
back to Sivam by 6.00am.

Or, stay off from mandir to facilitate cleaning up of Mandir and Alankarana of
the Lord SAI.

5.30 am - On NO-Nagar Sankeertan days, after Alankarana, Assemble again silently for
Bhajan for Half an Hour.
6.00 am - Recite ASATOMA SADGAMAYA........ & Shanti Vachanam
Followed by "Managala Haarati(AARATI)"and distribution of Vibhooti Prasadam.
followed by Recital of Gayatri Mantra 11 times.

- On festive & special occasions, there is Prasada Vitarana also based on the
arrangements.

De-Fluoridation Plant.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,sairam and good day
As programmed we are delighted to inform you that this morning at 10.30 am we have commissioned yet another (5th) De-Fluoridation plant at the village CHEEPUNUNTHALA in Mehaboobnagar district.
This will cater to 1250 people with safe and clean drinking water with a can of 12 liters every day.
This village folk were suffering from fluorosis attacks since ages and by the grace of our beloved Swami and efforts of our Saroonagar,Malakpet and Vanasthalipuram team members have now commissioned this facility in just 27 days precisely.
This is an amazing piece of work with commitment,determination devotion and love for Swami.
The village folk were overjoyed and were profusely thanking the organization and Swami- and were delighted to see miracles happening in this neglected village.
The Organization is immensely pleased with the concerned members dedication, and congratulate all those wonderful people who spent long hours for their efforts to make this possible in such a short time.

Dear Brothers and sisters,sairam

I am ever concerned about certain service activities that we are planning these days.Incidentally they are all good and deserving never the less!

But I would like you all, to recognize that we have some limitations in terms of resources of time ,finances and people.

All works proposed are usually taken by the same set of few committed souls and they will be putting maximum efforts to make them going.This is not easy and comfortable all the time!

I would like to emphasize that we have to concentrate and do justice to works that are already on hand, in full.We need to be creative and innovative in those tasks to enhance their quality and quantity first and fore most.

Do not take new things just because you thought about it to be good-while it is- like I said, again the same resourceful people have to handle. But we do not have that many?

This will lead to the focus on works on hand gets diluted and dissolved too very often.

We can recall how new projects override on existing services.

I would like all concerned to ponder over and do the best you can on going service tasks.

I am here to assist you to sort out the organizational priorities as ever! and we need you like enever before!

SPRITUAL STOCK INDEX-SSI

We are now coming to the concluding weeks of the 83rd Birth day events with a special focus on Nagarasankirtan and Bhajans (ironically that includes Bhojan & high prasadam in some cases)
While we are at it,it is equally important we need to asses the impact we could make on our self and others? What is the stock position?

I am looking at what you and I should do?As we do not have control on what others should do?
Are we able to induce fresh and new people in to the organization and hold?Are we able to let know others what we are doing, other the routine? Are we spending some time at the end of the bhajan session narrating the service opportunities available and appeal for participation and creating an ambiance for people to come in?

Now as we are close to concluding,it is worth spending some time in our congregations on these thoughts and more on this please!

PRAVACHANAM SERIES AT SIVAM

You will recall some time ago,I intimated to all concerned that we are going to have a PRAVACHNAM at Sivam on every Sunday by renowned pundits on various subjects such as Ramayanam,Mabhataratham,Upanishads,Geetha,Swami's series of literature and the like. In this context with HIS blessings we have now organized a programme from Sunday the 12Th of October 2008-commencing at 4.30 pm and concluding at 6 pm.

In the first of this series we have invited Brahmasri. Vishnubhotla Subrahmanya Sastry Garu Salakshana Ghanapati, M.A, Ph.D ,Retired Principal, Veda Bhashya Vignana & Research Association Ved Bhavan, Malkajigiri ,Sri Subramanaya Sastry garu is an examiner for Veda Pattas Pradanam and has been a recipient of an award and Puraskaram from the AP.Governor. Further he has been nominated to receive an award this year from the President of India as well. He is the Examiner for Veda Pattas Pradanam currently.

On 12th of October he will be talking to us on "Srimad Ramayanam"

I request all our Samithis/Units to announce this programme at the end of the Bhajan congregations and in the neighborhood. Please encourage people to attend this programme in large numbers. I request all our Bhajan centers to display the programme details on their notice boards. Call your Friends and relative circle on mobile phones and inform them.

This programme will be coordinated by our spiritual and cultural event Manager-
Sri Jandhyala Gowrinadha Sastry garu supported by his team from Vidyanagar Samithi. As this event is going to be on going every Sunday, we request the readers and the interested to suggest names of renowned pundits,who can be enrolled for this programme in the coming months.

PN - NOVEMBER SERVICES - MY CONCERNS

1. We need to mobilize our members both young and the old for the November services that includes - Gramaseva kitchen work-Batch 1 and Batch 2-contingents for the birth day. 2. Who ever is nominated must have the registration done here and carry his photo identity and service allotment in the particular sector.He must wear the badge and scarf on duty-except for the prasanthi security service. 3. Railway concession is available for November service,but for the registered members only. Therefore issue them only when they are going for service-This is the priority. 4. All members old/young/middle aged must be affiliated to a corresponding samithi where they are residing.They must be registered in the conveners register and must be routed thru this facility. 5. The PN authorities shall not allow this time any member with out an identity card and registration .It is on account of the organizational discipline and special security concerns of the present day environment. 6. Railway concession forms and registration facilities are available with the respective Samithi conveners and they should take it from them. 7. Sri Kalam Ramana reddy our Dsc and Sri RaviKiran are authorised in coordination to handle this task in the manner as described in this concerned notice. 8. FREE DESIGNING COURSE INAGURATION - BRIEF HIGHLIGHTS

It was yet another inspiring event for many of us to be part of Free Designing Course offered by Sai Youth of Himayath Nagar yesterday at City Central Library conference hall. Swamy's direction behind this programme and blessings for such initiatives has been a great source of inspiration for Sai Youth.This time almost every News Paper published news item of this programme very prominently...some of them did it two times as well

There was a scroll in Bhakthi Channel/ announcement in AIR as well

The Chairman of City Central Library Sri Srinivas Yadav offered the facilities free of cost...just knowing this SSSSO ProgrammeOur CA.KK Gupta garu and scores of others came forward and offered their own computers(12Nos) for setting up the computer labOur CA.Nagaraj from the youth group offered all the furniture for the computers.Premasai Hall at Himayathnagar usually used as Bhajan Hall being transformed in to a LAB for building the lives for next 60 days.Brothers Ravindra( IBM), Srinivas(Genpact), Bhasker( Msc.,BEd), Vishnu ( 1BE),Swarna (Professional) etc., and scores of others playing prime role in this project...all of them new to the system of SSSSO...Youth Group as well our Pandu...very caringly offered all the hard ware support for setting up the lab.

There were about 200+ unemployed youth who participated in the intro session yesterday...representation of all the 23 dis could be seen.DP/GSTPresident/DSC/DYC/Samithi Convenors all were there during the programme.Srikar(imaging solutions) Rajesh(srinivasa art printers) offered their services as faculty for 60days...they spoke to the people

our SIVAM Sunil (CEO - Print Mind) was there talking about the opportunities for designers

Prashanth ( Computer Basics Student) was a special attraction for the participants.PS.Nagaraj & Co arranged very heavy snacks for all the participants...

though every one who registered for the programme looks very doubting initially...by the time it was finished...all were in tears...understanding our love to them...it was a real sight to see for all the SSSSO teams there...almost 10 participants spoke in the conclusion...every one were inspired to change their life styles...even if they are not being selected today in the screening...such was their connectivity for the programme.

Bala was there connecting to the people with his SSSSO,HMngr was there to support all the event as a back bone.It was our Brother Nagender who was silently conceived an IDEA of Designing Course for the last 3 months with his observations and surveys...today he is feeling very happy to note that he could see swamy's Blessings in every move now.Sr Youth Brother Gangadhar( Ring Raju) along with Satya, Vinod, Ravi, Somu, Sathyendra, venu, Jagannath ,praveen, Kishore, Sarath, Balakrishna etc.,to be seen as source of admiration for the local youth there...

Going Forward...today we have screening test which is starting from 3 pm evalution of Concepts Sheets / test papers to be done about 5/8 interview panels required to screen the participants.Serving teams are needed to day during the programme many sr brothers needed for interviewing the candidates.

Today our Musician Sridhar(Chain) came forward to offer his music for the participants

we need lab assistants for the next 60 days programme( 11-1pm & 2-4 pm)

we need mentors for the 50 participants.We need to have some one who can document entire event for our records known people in the designing/printing industry need to visit this lab and talk to the participants.There may many more seva opportunities...if some one wanted to be part of this sacred event...please join hands...

Let hearts melt seeing the fate of hundreds of unemployed youth...let it motivate us to do good work...as GOD himself commanded us to engage ourselves in such activity...which is very dear to HIM.

CORE TEAMS TASKS DEFINED

You will recall when we commenced our SSS VIP almost a year ago,we constituted a core committee for this task that will visit interact and come up with suggestions, corrections, modifications, support and then work together to achieve objectives of this programme.Further more to work out and reach the expectation of our beloved Swami as well.

Certainly we have gone a long way on this journey and made some in ways in knowing,learning and becoming familiar with the village folks in all places.The level of achievement has been varied, different and diversified- meaning we are little off the course! from place to place-obviously for many reasons say from lack of knowledge to lack of appropriate training in all the designed categories.This includes the presence/attendance of members a well.

In this process and journey we need to translate our learning in to positive workable solutions.The most important aspect is the visit to every home with an integrated approach and this remains to begin at least now!With this objective,we had a meeting on 2Nd October 2008 and worked a plan of action with headings and reconstituted a core group with the willing and committed members.

This does not mean that others can not join-we need committed members always and all the time and you are most welcome-if you like responsibility and other weights that come along with it!

The following programmes will take the priority now!

1.Gramasabhas in each village in the evening after 7.30 pm-in which we need to deliver the total objective of this programme and make people realize the purpose of this project.

2.To conduct a training programme at Sivam with the selected/elected members from each cluster samithis elected in our SSSVIP-These members to be nominated by the team leader groups.

3.To meet with the Team leader groups separately either at the respective village or convenient place to transfer the thoughts of the core group teams with an objective to implementing,systematically simultaneously and uniformly at all places,where ever possible.

All these members will be working on an integrated basis providing suggestions and solutions in all the 7 categories mentioned above where ever required.Not particularly tied with any one.

With these details I now request the concerned members to organize,plan and execute the task that are allotted and assigned soonest you can.
