TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT BY HYD SSSSO

You will recognize that our traffic management team at certain important junctions in the city has taken off to a brilliant start at Mehadipatnam too! You will recall, we had a three week successful programme at Dilshuknagar earlier in June and now here! Our 21 strong youngsters managed this after several training and theory sessions and notes taking.

The police department and the public appreciation has been enormous and very encouraging.Our role is of course to pave a way and show this can be done! This is our first phase road show and we have another 10 different programmes to go and of course one after the other.
We want to keep you in suspense as to what it is for the moment? It is heartening to see how the public and the police wants this programme to go on.... For us it is Swami's guidance and love that keeps us going!

SAIRAM

By the Grace of Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba,the Traffic management activity happenned successfully,for first time at Mehdipatnam. We have done the activity from 10 am to 12noon on saturday 21st june. 21 members including youth,young and elders have participated in this activity. We have done at Mehdipatnam X roads (near meraj hotel) as per the CI directions. The response from public was promising.

Many of them asked,who we are? what we are doing,why we are doing??why the traffic police are not like this?when you are doing this,why the traffic police are collecting the challans? some one suggested that there will be no traffic jam if vehicles parked wrongly are cleared.Some elders even blessed us for taking up such activity. Our answers for some were We are from Satya sai organisation. We are trying to support the Traffic police. To serve our own people, To bring traffic awareness.

We are happy doing this activity. 2 people from the public also showed interest.Among them one person who was physically handicapped joined us. Sri PV.Sastry along with 2 members from koti samithi also participated in this activity.It could have been incomplete with out the support of sastry garu,who has captured the entire activity effectively with his lens. With swami's grace we would like to continue this for some more time with more support and better suggestions from all the elders and youth.

PRASANTHI NILAYAM SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL

You will recall some time ago I have sent a mail to all concerned for providing sevadal members to PN for certain felicitation services at our super specialty hospital.In fact we have been sending them too! But suddenly when we sit back and relax assuming that things are going on, we have surprise to learn that our people did not report in certain specified months-You will all know what happens then?

The unexpected did happen! and we are warned and requested by the concerned to see that we send our people there as per the time table enclosed here with. Dear Conveners,kindly see the schedule of Hyderabad and adhere to the time table- will you please! I am requesting our Sri G.Bhaskar Rao garu our District medical service in charge to look in to this service aspect,follow up and dispatches.

Swami says :

Without the sanction of the Lord, man cannot achieve anything in the world. The Divine is the basis for everything. Man, however, is filled with conceit that he is the one who is doing everything. This pride is the cause of his ruin. It is the cause of his frustration and disappointment. Man today is basing his life on reliance on Nature and is hence forgetting God. This is a grievous mistake. You must place your faith in God, the Creator of the universe, and then enjoy what Nature provides. Faith in God is the primary requisite for man.

DATA BASE MANAGER NOMINATION

We are delighted to intimate that our sevadal activity in terms of magnitude and direction is on the increase at home and in PN along with the increse in service activities. In order to cope up with this volume,we are very pleased to nominate one of our senior members Sri K.Krishnakumar garu (Vanasthalipuram) as a Data base manager to handle the activity concerning, listings, duties, postings, updating,dispatches,recruitment and finally reporting.

He will be contacting all our Samithi conveners/unit in charges from time to time and as and when necessary to update the data base. Core group data base is another area of his concern as well. He will be also be in touch with Sri PC Sastry garu and our District service coordinator Sri Ramana Reddy garu in all these tasks.

We appeal and request all brothers to cooperate and assist him to make this assignment successful and enjoyable. We pray once again to our Swami to shower HIS grace on our brother Krishnakumar and his family.

REHABILIATION PROGRAMME

Most of our members and devotees may not be aware of the rehabilitation programme that is going on since March this year. This is for the benefit of heart surgery (undergone) patients from Bhagawan's hospitals at Parthi and Bangalore but are residents in Hyderabad.

We have six doctors assigned for this purpose in our city and when allotted they look after the patient periodically and report to Parthi when ever there is any special need. In Hyderabad the Administrative part is handled by Sri G.Bhaskar Rao garu(9440767542) and medical details by Dr.J.V.Rao garu ( 9440540224)

The following note of Sri Bhaskar Rao garu will give the status and philosophy of this programme :

Sairam. With the Blessings of our Swamy the follow up action is going on well in all cases. There are seven cases in total on hand. Five cases have already completed first round check up. The two new cases received recently will go for check up on coming Monday.

I would like to give a detail report on Sai Rehabilitation Programme for your use. Many people in twin cities are not aware of the programme. The basic information which I prepared from the literature I got on the subject, is enclosed. Kindly go through the report and give me your valuable remarks/opinion in the matter at an early date. In this context I am happy to say that I have full coopeation from most of the Samithi conveners whereever related.

Mobile Medical service in Mumbai

Inspired by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Vision of providing free Medicare & Health for all, the Sri Sathya Seva Organisation ( Maharashtra & Goa) has launched the Mobile Medicare Project to reach totally free, quality primary Medicare to the poor & needy at their doorstep – in every district of Maharastra.The extremely vulnerable sections of society either due of financial constraints, escalating medicare costs and / or lack of availability of medical facilities / sources are unable to secure the barest of medical care.

A vast majority of illnesses can be nipped in the bud by providing timely treatment, thus preventing further complications, Such timely aid can provide immense relief on the hospitals and avoid costly treatment of later stages.Cost in setting up of primary health centres or dispensaries & clinics are prohibitive .The Mobile Dispensaries / units are viable alternatives and cost effect It is acknowledged by professionals in the medical and social service fields that priority should are accorded to PRIMARY HEALTH SERVICES, if millions of Indians are to enjoy better health..

The Mobile Medicare Units are holistic in nature and approach and seek to bring about improvement in the quality of the life of the slum dwellers and villagers, etc. To achieve this, various initiatives are being taken educate locals on various aspects of preventive health care,hygiene, sanitation, vocational guidance & placement, and value orientation.

Each Mobile Unit can attend to approximately 100 /150 patients per day and conservatively about 4000 patients monthly. The medical units will be visiting centers on a regular basis as per a fixed time table .The pilot project has over the last 14 months provided free medical aid to over 30,000 patients in the western suburbs of Mumbai city.The concept of free Mobile dispensaries is based on a simple Model, thus ensuring mass participation by our devotees, seva dal workers in the organization . Howsoever, its vision as envisaged under this project is highly ambitious and effective in terms of implementation, scale,approach, attitude & reach.

Friday, June 13th, 2008, was a memorable day in the history of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation of Maharashtra & Goa and especially for the city of Mumbai.Even though the monsoon rains had abated, the showers of Divine Grace poured profusely enabling one and all gathered at the Sachivalya Gymkhana in the heart of the Metropolitan city of Mumbai to revel in the Divine experience of Bhagwan's Omnipresence at the function of Dedication of 12 Mobile Medical Vans on Friday, 13th June, 2008 , a day blessed by Bhagwan himself.

In the midst of the monsoon season, the absence of rain was a clear indication of Divine Grace and a manifestation of Bhagwan's Divine Love for one and all. The function commenced at 2.30 p.m. with bhajans and was graced by important luminaries from the State of Maharashtra like the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh, who paidglowing tributes to Bhagwan's Mission and Work. The Chief Minister was deeply appreciative of the work of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Maharashtra, of undertaking the project of sending out initially 12 Mobile Medical Vans in different districts of Maharashtra.

He personally handed over the keys of the Medical vans to the 12 selected districts of Maharashtra and prayed that the 12 mobile vans are soon multiplied and become 108 medical vans, which can reach out to providing medical facilities, free of charge, at the doorstep of the afflicted and ailing. He further added that this project would be a great boost to the Government of Maharashtra and he was confident that with the Grace of Bhagwan, the project would scale great heights. It was his personal conviction that the monies donated to the Sri Sathya Seva Organization was always put to rightful use and passed through safe hands.

The function was also attended by Shri Ashok Chavan, Minister For Industries, who reiterated that Bhagwan has always been exhorting that pure drinking water, medical facilities and education must be available freely to all, especially the poor and needy . Shri Suresh Shetty, Minister For Health also lauded the commendable efforts taken by the Organization in providing free medical facility to the poor and sick.Smt Snehlata Deshmukh, Former Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University was appreciative of this project which will cater to the medical needs of women and children at their doorstep. Reknowned Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma also offered his gratitude to Bhagwan and expressed to the audience at large that only Bhagwan could inspire such a project of human amelioration .

The function was attended by more than 700 persons ,most of them were not members of the Organization and the function was a sheer manifestation of Bhagwan's Love and Grace and has generated great enthusiasm amongst all persons in Maharashtra, to render selfless seva. From reports received from the different districts where the mobile vans have reached their destinations in different parts of Maharashtra , it has been learnt that the medical vans have been received by the villagers with great agog and fanfare and the air was reverberating with loud cries of Jai Sai Ram! The villagers stopped the vans and performed mangalaarti of Bhagwan.

Thus, en-route, crowds gathered in front of the mobile dispensaries and sang words of praise and glory of Bhagwan In short, the atmosphere in the different districts of Maharashtra is one of festivity, marked with joy and love for our most Beloved Bhagwan.All in Maharashtra, from the smallest to the biggest, express their heartfelt gratitude to Bhagwan for showering His Divine Grace and Blessings and helping to make the occasion an unforgettable one in the annals of Sathya Sai Rajya..

All India President Circular on World Education Conference

By Bhagavan's Infinite Grace, the WEC will be held between July 20-22, 2008. There will be plenary sessions at the Sai Kulwant Hall, where Indian and Overseas delegates will jointly attend. There will be separate Working Sessions for the Indian and Overseas delegates. The Working Sessions for India are divided into two parts: one for Bal Vikas and the other for the Sai Schools. These will be held at the Double Decker Building near the Book Stall.

There will be 4 Working Sessions as follows:

July 20: from 8-9.30 pm.
July 21: from 1-3.30 pm
July 21: from 8-9.30 pm
July 22: from 1-3.30 pm.

There may be a special session on July 22 between 8-9.30 pm and a post conference Tutorial on July 23.

All State Presidents and State Trust Convenors are required to attend the sessions, preferably the sessions for the Sai Schools. 625 delegates from India and 1200 delegates from Overseas have registered for the Conference. Registration Counters for the delegates are being arranged, where accommodation will also be allotted. An Exhibition on Sai Education in the World is also being organised from the 16th July-July 23 in the Poornachandra Auditorium.

All concerned persons are requested to be at Prasanthi Nilayam latest by the 14th of July.

SAI GANGA TO CHENNAI

News papers of Tamil, Telugu or English came out with the news of Bhaghavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Sai-Ganga project on last Thursday.He said the water is brought to the Tamil Nadu from Kandaleru anicut to Poondi lake considered to be one of the most important water reservoir for the people of Chennai.

He said the up gradation of the Kandaleru-Poondi canal was being carried out at a cost of Rs.50 crores fully provided by the Sri Sathya Sai Trust. Stretches and pucca walls had been laid out by the Trust between Kandaleru to Poondi and from Poondi to zero point of the Chennai Metropolitan area, thus covering a total distance of 177.97 Kilo meter.

According to Elangovan, the Poondi lake starting from the zero point to Poondy reservoir was in a dilapidated condition with a lot of sands and muds covering on both the sides of the walls of the canal carrying water to the Chennai city. Since, the condition of the lake was in a worst condition and when the water was released, the entire water was not reaching the Chennai city people, for the water was eaten away by the sands and the muds.

When the very same problem was faced by the Andhra Pradesh, the Sathya Sai Trust intervened and set right the things properly, it is said. Hence, the Tamil Nadu government had appealed recently to carry out the work by the Sathya Sai Trust to make it possible to receive the water to the Chennai city.

The Sathya Sai Trust immediately took out the work and started to upgrade the conditions since May last year. The Trust had allocated a sum of Rs.50 crores for the project.He also revealed that Sri Sathya Sai Trust had undertaken the work of cleaning up the two lakes in Chennai city. He said the Porur lake and Madhavaram Rettai Eri would be undertaken by them, however, this could be possible only when the two lakes became dry.

VISIT TO SAROORNAGAR SAMITHI

In our journey to Samithis,our Saroornagar visit was really rewarding as we came across several innovative and creative ideas that are being practiced at this place. I must take this opportunity to let you all know how hard it has been to the senior members earlier in the office to work out to acquire this piece of land. Then construct the Mandir against very tough conditions of gathering resources. Then come up with an outstanding structure that will be there for generation to come and see!

It is historic now and incidentally all the foundations are always below the ground and we may not be able see them,but can feel them.This is a classic example as to how Bhagawan utilizes HIS instruments appropriately at the right time in right measure. We congratulate Sri Dayanand and his team members who have spent their Divine time in realizing this dream of Sai Sudha.I am aware that this has been the team work of a number of souls who are sitting in the audience here to night! Swami's blessings to all!

In the past and now this place is witness to many miracles and special services like the Yagnas,camp for the Auto men,Camp for pregnant women,camps for village children,tuition's for college drop outs,medical camps,classes for Indian culture and spirituality and center for Balavikas. Production of skits for Radio Sai,Production of village folk songs for Radio Sai broadcast,classes for meditation, Veda chanting,Bhajan singing. And now computer classes, spoken English and call center training for 40 boys! Amazing is it not?

I also recall that Swami's senior devotees from prasanthinilayam like Prof Anilkumar,Sri Ramana rao,Sri Chiranjeevi rao,Sri Paramahamsa visited this place a number of times.Our past President Dr.G.Narasing Rao had special love for this place and almost for every function he was here. Incidentally,I recall the samithi participation in village services in plenty and provided educational (Bus loads) and medical service and even water systems to a village.We witnessed Sri Narasimhareddy's team cooking feats and feasts. I recognize this samithi has introduced the ceiling on desires programme in an innovative fashion and I learn that it is working beautifully.

The voluntary contribution of rice in every home very regularly is outstanding example and at the same time funds flow voluntarily too is unique.Members put them in a an envelope and place at the lotus feet in a box kept at separate place with reverence and love. Members would be interested to know the first De-Fluoridation plant work in Bahadurpet was supervised by this samithi.

The DJP Boys residence and management was also undertaken by the Saroornagar members by the Divine guidance and kind courtesy of Sri V.V.Rao and family /Dr.J.V.Rao/Dr Shakunthala garu /Sri Vausudeava Rao and host of other Divine souls joined together. It is this spirit that has made us propose to our dear Swam in March,another extension,expansion of DJP membership and now consequently we are in the process of construction of a residence hostel for 30 more boys at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar at a cost of Rs 48 lakhs.

Saroornagar Samithi came forward to organize and supervise the construction. The present DJP strength is 9 and the students are performing extremely well in all directions by shear will, Divine grace and efforts of the management. I learn from the reports that along with the other group of SAMITHI's (Malakpet,Vanasthalipuram,Alkapuri) the SSS VIP work at Chipunoothala is progressing extremely well with innovative ideas.

The evening programme started with the reading out of the service report by Sri Vasudeva rao the convener and then our DSC, Sri Ramana Reddy providing the purpose and meaning of this samithi meet to night. Dr.Krishna Kumar briefed on the SSS VIP basics and progress on Agro services.Sri PC.Sastry briefed the audience on the need of sevadal at sivam,in villages with particular reference to prasanthinilayam

His emphasis was on the core group requirement for Swami's residence and other security sensitive zones.He elaborated on the expectation of the ashram authorities on physical attributes desirable for such services in terms of alertness,intelligence,robust physical fitness,handsome appearance and appropriate height.

The DP at length explained to the audience some fundamentals that all members ought to know whether or not in the organization for their own better living and progress in the spiritual life.
They should know that they are here by HIS shear will and consent.They should have belief in GOD.They should believe in the existence of Divinity and faith.Finally they should obey the commands of HIS will and follow what he says at all times and circumstances.

The DP emphatically stressed the point that we are the chosen lot, for mearly squaring our own accumulated bad karma with good one.This is possible only by participating in services granted to us by Bhagawan,through which we can do some good work and service to the needy. He emphasized the need to realize that we need to judge ourselves but never ever others, nor waste our time in preaching to others or attempting to change others.It is important that we attempt change ourselves first before we do any thing.

He described the universal aspect of the Divinity and as to how we need to think in those lines for better approach to life and society as such. The DP at length described the SSS VIP concept as designed by our Swami and the organization.He has provided simple procedure as to how one can enjoy the programme with out a thought of burden for him and the family.

He wanted all members of the SSSO to enjoy this programme now and for coming three years.He wanted every samithi to spend 5 hours per week for general work related to door to door visit and 2 hours for Balavikas per month on a trip. All the group samithis must sit down and plan a designated service chart for this work.

While answering questions he has provided guidelines for operating balavikas and clarified the various communication channels available to know what is going on day to day in the organization.They were questions from audience on discipline at PN and negative behavior of some of the members there towards sevadal.They opine that this is one reason why people are not opting or encouraged to go over there!

While DP agreed with them on certain aspects,he wanted us to realize there is no definite reason for this to happen as explained at the out set.He said that there are certain things that we do not have control and some we have control.We can be concerned on controls we have with us only? We must believe on the purpose of going there on HIS call, and leave the rest to HIS will.Father knows best!

On the question of of arrangement for a five day duties,the DP has said that already such arrangement is in existence,but then members have to organize their partners and see that they respond and appear in time to relieve. He wanted all saroornagar members to go round the service projects executed by the Hyderabad SSSO and see for themselves the kind of Divine opportunities we all had so long.

The DP has provided the various ways by which we can enroll youth and new members in to the organization.He has given several examples why they do not get new members?
Finally the DP wanted Saroornagr to be very unique and classic model of a samithi in the city by continuing the services and high standards set by themselves with HIS blessings.

He wanted them to show case the villages undertaken as classic examples of love in action and expect the villagers to vouch for themselves good and God's work done by us when ever organization elders visit the place to see what is happening there? Members felt that they can achieve it in course of an year or so! Sri Vishnu Vardhan in his talk wanted a water filterationplant at Cheepunoothala and the DP has approved installation ,and proposed another water analysis test. Sri Vishnuvardhan and Vasudeva rao and read out a pledge for the audience to join in unison. The youth coordinator concluded with thnaks giving to the members.

It has been a memorable and rewarding evening for all of us to be here to night

VISIT TO MALLAPUR SAMITHI-SATURDAY

We continued our journey through the Samithi's after some gap.This is on account of various priorities of other activities.We were in Mallapur Samithi on Saturday the 14th of June 2008 and had the opportunity to meet and interact with some of the seniors and juniors of the Samithi.

We had an enchanting bhajan to begin with and then the session. Dr.Krishnakumar spoke on the importance of sadhana and the focus of the SSS VIP,while Sri Ramana Reddy provided the purpose of the meet and aims and objectives of the session. Sri PC Sastry garu high lighted the need of the services at Hyderabad and at Prasanthi with special reference to the core group needs in terms of qualifications and physical attributes of the group candidates.He emphasized on the Swami 's residential security needs in particular.

The DP expressed his satisfaction on the progress and achievement of the Samithi in all related service fronts, with special reference to Matha Sisu services in the villages. The DP at the out set provided the basic concept one need to know whether or not in the organization for a better and happy living. This includes concept of Divinity,and our realization that services are basically for our own up liftment and good.This is designed by Swami to nullify the bad Karma with good one that would accumulate while in service to the needy in the society.

The DP has emphasised on the need to avoid, judging others and making attempts to change others.He stressed on the need to judge ourselves and make an attempt to change our thinking and approach rather than wasting our whole life, attempting to preach others as to what they should be doing? He also emphasized on the need to see SWAMI in universal from and concept and not limit to this form and name alone.This would enhance our Vinson and would help in our expansion and broad thinking.

The DP fully explained the SSS VIP concept and how one should be participating with at least one group of samithi members once in a month for at least 4/5 hours. The DP has provided comprehensive plans of the organization and communication that are available and the expectation of the organization. He has requested for participation of all members and also other group samithi's along with them whether or not they are contributing in any form.The whole concept of the SSS VIP is tolerance and unity and working together.

The meeting ended at 9.30 pm and were happy at the end of the day to see many quarries answered.

SUNDAY SIVAM NEWS

We are delighted to share with you that on this Sunday we had the following programmes:

At 9.30 am we were with our State President Dr.Anjanaiah garu to discuss and finalize our State youth pilgrimage programme to Parthi from 25th to 29th of June 2008. You will recall that, we will have 1500 youth in men and mahilas visiting parthi and spending their time in the Divine presence with various youth related programmes and cultural events.

Apart from Darsan there will be congregation every day in the morning from 10.30 to 1 pm and then again from 7.30 pm to 9 pm.During day sessions the the youth will present the events for the benefit of the youth. During the evening sessions, we will have address by the Asrhram seniors every night for four days.There will be service activity for two days apart from visiting places of importance with shopping included. This youth pilgrimage specialty is 80 percent will be new comers (first timers) and for the first time mahila youth are invited to join. Let us look forward for a wonderful time in HIS presence.

At 1.30 pm we had a Mahiladal group leaders and active mahiladal coordinators meeting for a training session with three professors and experts in the field of Nutrition and health aspects addressing the audience..This is organized for the benefit of mahila members that serve the village folk under SSS VIP.This was a 3 hour session with interaction on the subject.Incidentally this is the first of three proposed for training.

With HIS blessings,we had Prof Umamaheswari and Prof Uma Devi and Dr Yashoda specialists in Nutrition and incidentally former Ananthapur campus first batch Swami students. They have volunteered to come to our village service any time and train our members. The special feature is our State President also addressed and participated in this event to the delight of the audience.

At 4.30 pm we had the Sivam book trust meet to discuss the business affairs,expansion possibilities and the account reconciliation.Sri Seshasai conducted the meet with Dr.Narasinga rao garu,Sri Sathyamurhty,Sri Rambabu.Sri Prasad,Sri Santhosh Utchil.Dr.Anjanaiah garu presided.

At 6.30 pm we were in Kamlanagar Samithi to address the members as a part of our city samithi visits.Incidentally this is the 22nd meeting. We had Sri PC.Sastry garu,Sri Ramanareddy garu with us.We had a three hour session in the night thoroughly answering all the queries posed related to the organization and SSSVIP.

NUTRITION ASPECTS TRAINING FOR SSS VIP

We are delighted to inform you that on Sunday the 15th of June we had a training session at Sivam from 1.30 pm to 4 pm on NUTRITIONAL aspects and related health and hygiene related matters. The programme was conducted by our SSS VIP coordinator Dr.Krishna Kumar to begin with and later joined by Brother Gopikrishna with further inputs. Brother Sridhar Sarma assisted in the disply of relevant slides on the subject.

Mahila group coordinators and active mahila members that are likely to be associated in the services for SSS VIP numbering around 70 gathered at Sivam. Prof Uma Maheswari/Prof Umadevi and Dr.Yashoda garu who are specialists in the field of Nutrition were present and handled the three sessions with frequent interaction with the participants.Incidentally the faculty happened to be former students of Swami's Anantapur college.

By His grace we had Dr.Anjanaih garu our State President with us on this occassion and we requested him to join this programme and provide some inputs to this event. Dr.Anjanaih garu described the details of the subject and how and why this programme is called integrated in the real sense by combining the spiritual aspect related to it by extensively quoting Bhagawat Gita and Swami's poems rendered on various occasions. Some important preliminary details were discussed as this programme is first of the three in the series.

The programme concluded by 4 pm.

EMPLOYABILITY WORK SHOP

With the Divine blessings of Bhaghwan ,we have conducted a work shop on "employability skills" at Prem Mandir,Srinagar Ciolony on Sat & Sun (14th & 15th of June ) for twenty students who are under going computer training at Shivam. The "employability workshop" is designed to help students on A)Developing Self Confidence. B)Develop People Skills. C)Develop Communication Skills.

At the end of two days the students were happy and also could witness Bhagwan's LOVE & grace ,in many instances for example on the first day when the food was to be served to people, few of the boys felt that the food was too less and may not be sufficient for the entire crowd, and they discussed the same with elders like Mr.Subba Rao garu , Mr.Sita Ram Shastri garu & Mr.Rajendra Prasad garu who with their love and affection where serving the food and explained about HIS perpetual LOVE.

At the end of the lunch the students witnessed HIS presence as the vessels turned out to be "AKSHYA PATRA" and food was more than sufficient. By HIS direction and LOVE ,the humble V.V.S.Laxman was also part of the entire program where he addressed aptly the students for about 10 Min , this could have not been possible with the HIS WILL where, Mr.Rajendra prasad garu, Mr.Srinivas garu and Mr.Shyam Sundar garu where instrumental in it.

Finally the students made a commitment to apply what they have learnt,nothing better can be expected, the "PARIVARTHAN" (Transformation) in the students, all this is not possible without TEAM work and more than that Swami's LOVE to give us this opportunity.

This is to intimate that with immediate effect our brother Sri T.Subramaniam garu is nominated as convener for Vansthalipuram samithi in place of Sri K.Krishnakumar garu.This was necessitated on account of Sri Krishnakumars humble request based on his non availability quite often at home on account of his traveling assignment frequently. This is adding to his conscious approach to lead the team to his satisfaction.

During his short tenure we recognize and record his invaluable support and appreciate his time and services to the organization.We are releasing him from the office only with his promise to accept and discharge all assignments given now and then or whenever!

At this time we request all concerned to fully support the new fresh incumbent Sri Subramaniam garu to discharge the duties at HIS lotus feet with the whole hearted assistance from all of us together.

It is quite some time since we are active in the SSS VIP tasks in the Hyderabad district.I am happy to inform you that we have very substantial participation and progress in services in 10 villages around the city of Hyderabad.I am glad we are able to connect with the village folk and our senior members and youth wings have really been working hard in spite of the routine job pressures and avocations they are involved at home and in their careers.We have rewarding experiance from the village folk!

I appreciate and realize that this has been possible by HIS will and your love for HIM.It is not not that easy to be available week after week and be present in the unscheduled SSSSO meetings.In this process,we recognized such wonderful set of people we have here with us in our organization.But it is happening because of HIS back up and grace.He is just doing this for our good sake!

As we go along this journey,I begin to realize more and more how insignificant we can be or problems can be?Looking back I could not imagine that we can mobilize so much of resource in men, material and help from unexpected quarters in so many ways! Great and good productive ideas are being offered by many brothers and sisters.

We are able to connect to the best of brains from the city elite in this process.We still have unexplored avenues in plenty!I reckon that all our brothers and sisters should recognize and realize that how fortunate we are to be in HIS mission of the Avatar? Could you recognize how beautifully HE engaged you and me?

It is unbearable pain when I hear, some one tells me directly or indirectly that they do not know what is happening? or some one say they did not tell me? or no body bothered to tell me? or Am I supposed to be in SSS VIP?Or some one say, no need, I can be different?Or some one say that some body told me that all need not participate? Some one say" Do you think I am useful"?

Bhagawan when he created this facility said" every body including the old , the young children(men,women,youth) must participate in this programme for their own good.
Members must be focused and participate in the Organization designed programmes and not create your own! If you do,it will dilute your resources in men,materials and finances and your thoughts even! be careful!-your journey will be out of track-shunted to goods yard?

We have been making and creating several routes to let people know what we are doing and what you have to do collectively? I have been explaining this aspect in our Samithi meets.We know,we still need to do a lot more and we will do it with HIS power and our effort!But you too have a part in this mission-you have God given skills (positive) that need to be offered at HIS lotus feet even though----some one does not invite you specifically-we need to look for opportunities to serve-how? where? and what? is your purview too! We know that we do not do this for the DP or HS?

Gone are the limits to wait until some one tells and some one does-This can happen in places where wages are paid.Here-be creative,innovative and be part of it! Say "I am here to take this responsibility".But this must be honest,sincere and with love for HIM.There will be obstructions,there will be humiliations,but there is joy and bliss waiting too, at the end of the tunnel.

We look forward to your participation and joining us to be with our groups serving in villages round the clock in thought and on week ends physically.

Teaching our SSSVIP Villagers Telugu in 45 days !

In our SSS VIP we intend to introduce another interesting and useful programme.This is called as " ADUTHU PADUTHU THELUGU".This process will make the illiterates read and write Telugu in about 45 days I believe!This concept is evolved from the extraordinary hard and dedicated work of Late Sri Prof.Goteti Balakrishnamurthy garu of California state University-USA.

By the grace of our beloved Swami Our dear MLN Swamy and his beloved wife smt Seshavalli garu have learnt this art and have been teaching in the industries and village folk for the past five years or more silently.They intend to extend their skills to the benefit of the SSS VIP folks.To accomplish this,we need to identify at least four or five members in each village. To them they will teach and impart the skills either at Sivam or villages.Really this will be an extraordinary service facility and we must begin at once.

I request all the SSS VIP group leaders now, begin nominating at least four eligible educated men or women who can learn and in turn teach the village folk.This is going to be a very useful and special service and therefore requires your special attention and focus as well.
The next time your members visit a village this is the priority!

CANCER DETECTION CAMPS-SSS VIP

The Indo American Cancer Research center of Hyderabad is providing the state of the art mobile unit for us with their expert technical team to conduct these programmes.The readers would recall that we have had the first opportunity to conduct similar service camp last year and early this year successfully.This has been the effort and support of our US sai brother Dr.Gopal Rao and Smt Dr.Lalitha garu who live in Boston and are keen to continue this service with HIS grace and our SSSO support.

The concerned group leaders of the above villages have to make appropriate announcements in those areas to let know the women folk of the villages exclusively ,to avail this extraordinary facility that happens once in a way!

MAHILADAL MEET ON SSS VIP

We are delighted to inform that we had fruitful meeting with Mahiladal coordinators of the city on 7th of June at Sivam in order to have a working plan for our SSS VIP tasks.We had an interaction cum explaining session on the subject to make them familiarize with the kind of the ongoing services activity of SSSO/Hyd.

The following members have attended and promised their extensive presence and support with permission and approval from Smt Lalitha Omapathi Rao garu, the city convener.We now have planned a training programme on 15th of June at Sivam commencing at 1.30 pm till 4pm for the Mahiladal members on nutrition,health/hygiene,education etc.These will be presented by experts in the field coming from these fields.

The concept is to draw members from the core mahiladal,train them to enable them to serve in the 10 selected sssvip locations on every Sunday with a time table and schedule plan and content.Like emphasized in our meets each member will have only 4 hrs of service per week per month.This is how we should plan,execute and enjoy the service and bliss!

PS MEET IN SIVAM 7/8TH JUNE 2008

This is to remind and request all Samithi/and units to nominate members for the PRASANTHINILAYAM SECURITY SERVICES(PS) selection and training programme scheduled for 7th and 8th of June 2008 at 8.30 am at SIVAM.You will recognize that this is a very essential and top priority assignment in our organization and needs your utmost attention and presence.

We are hosting members from nearby Ranga Reddy,Nalagonda,Mehaboobnagar district apart form our own from Hyderabad city.It is likely that we will have 100 members with another 50 comprising the faculty and guests.We need to take care of them on the 7th and 8th of June.

It is very important that every Samithi/unit must send at least two or three physically,mentally fit and well acquainted, exposed to at least twice to PN routine service in the recent past.It is desirable they are below 45 years with smart agility,sharp and observational skills and enthusiasm in the kind of work involved as a special security personal.They need to work only for 10 days in an year at PN on a fixed time and date schedule.

I request you to kindly announce this in your Bhajans,meetings and call them by telephone/cell to night and fix them for this training session.

Youth meet in Sivam – 01 June 08

We had a wonderful day with the youth members this morning.Each one of them excelled the other in their presentations. -very sincere attempt indeed!Right from the start it was good and refreshing!

Sri Ravikiran handled nicely and pleasantly all the way!-Sathyprasad presented well on info tech/computer training-Dr KK was good with subject and green land humor-YC was absolute on the target with the right content- Sathyendra presented the traffic management interestingly and impressively with pictures and public feed back!-Sri Saikrishna reddy with His miracles and contact with Swami which was well taken by the audience-Sri Vishnu vardhan delivered on the point with full content-Gopi nailed with right weight hammer to the context and point.The Dhoni boy also did his part at the right time to the waiting audience.

Excellent programme that one can do with in 2 and half hours.It had all the ingradients like-The purpose of the meet--expectations- -the present services on roll-the results obtained--Swami' s love for people and ever concerned aspect-love of service-interesting interactions with swami-Miracles outstanding- sevadal security needs-what we need to do?- duty and need of the hour- opportunities and how one can know what is happening?
