By Swami’s Divine Grace, Shri Ch Srinivasulu and Shri C B Nataraja from Tata Projects Ltd, accompanied, by a SSSVIP active workers team including the District President Hyderabad District, Shri H Srinivasulu, and Shri Ramesh Reddy from Mallapur village visited Challuru, followed by Veerareddipalli.
The Team visited Veerareddipalli next. Out of the two functioning borewells of the village one was chosen. The water supply is adequate to take care of the 2300 population of the village .The TDS (Total Dissolved Salts) of this Borewell is 567 ppm (desirable less than 500 ppm), the fluoride content 1.25 ppm (desirable less than 1 ppm).The Water treatment plant here would have an additional Fluoride remover unit which will remove the fluoride (2.5 ppm) from the waste water and recycle 45 to 55% of the same which would have otherwise gone waste. Such a set up is being tried for the first time in

Respected Sir, Sairam. Today Cancer Detection Camp at Venkatapuram, one of the SSSVIP villages, is conducted. The camp started at 9.30 a.m. and the last patient was seen and sent back at 5.30 p.m. We returned back to Hyderabad at 8.00 p.m. The following team of doctors and nursing staff from IACI have attended the camp: Dr. Bhaskar, Dr.P. Veena, Dr. Kusuma Kumari Dr. Yahya, Sri C. Pardhasaradhi, Sister Bhoolakshmi, Sister Pramila Rani, Sister Mitty Abraham, Sis. Bibis Chacko, Sis. Prinay Thomas, Sis. Mel Kiran, Reenu, NMeenu K. Murali, Sri T.S.Rao, Smt. Venkataraamamma, and Srinivas. With Bhagawan's grace, the Cancer Detection Camp went on very well. There are 215 patients (Males 63 and females 152) attended the camp. The following tests were conducted: 1) Papsmear tests ...42 2) Ultrasound 41 3) Memograms 11 4) X-Rays 04 We have identified two cases of cancer and two cases of Fibroadenoses, one case of Thyroiad, two cases of renal problems, another case related to Hysterectomy etc. for which follow up action has to be taken. The reports of ultrasound, Memograms and X-rays have to be screened by Dr. J.B.Venkatarao garu and Dr. J.V. Rao garu in 2-3 days and decide further course of action in all cases. We are very thankful to the mahila sevadal for arranging an excellent lunch in the afternoon to all doctors, nurses and staff of IACI.
