Dear Brothers and Sisters,sairam and good day

We are on schedule this time to Veerareddy palli on the 25th of December 2008 for the evening gramasabha.

It is heartening to see that our core teams in Dr.Krishnakumar,Ravindra reached ahead of us for the general arrangements of equipment like the projector and sound systems at the venue.

We were delighted to see our SSS VIP team leaders from the samithis in Sri J.Nageswar rao,Sri Veeraswamy,Sri Madhusudan Sri Gajapathi Raju,Sri Bhaskar rao,Sri Pallamraju and the supporting sevadal brothers in the village well in advance.

We with our team in Sri Srinivas,Ramanareddy,Sri Balachandra,Col Sundar reached the place around 6.30 pm.

As usual not many were there in the beginning but slowly by 7 pm we had the people but not as expected.

Traditionally the villagers do not come out in to the gatherings as evening sets in.......it requires a lot of motivation and reasons to come!

The Sabha commenced with the opening traditional welcome by the sarpanch Sri Rajaiah.He explained to the audience the good work done and taken up the SSSO and appealed to all concerned to take advantage of the opportunity and support the visiting teams.

Sri Balachandra gathered the children and the elders and spoke to them motivating participation.He also emphasised on the need for their participation for their own benefit-He explained at length how the Organisation members pool their resources in order to help and develop the villages.He emphasised on the need for the youth participation and formation of village development committees.

He appealed for their coming forward.

Sri Pallam raju provided value oriented entertainment to the children and elders gathered by his unique mimicry show and ventriloquism.This was very largely applauded show and most entertaining indeed.The sound effects of gogs/cats was asounding and thrilling.

Sri Krishnakumar appealed to the audience to follow up with the services and conducted the entire programme

Finally Sri Y.Srinivas briefed on the purpose of the visit and appealed to the audience that it is a golden opportunity to avail the service and if they do not come forward they will be missing this opportunity.They should come forward with the teams and work unitedly for the development of the village.He explained how the members are coming to this village with so much love for them with dedication and commitment.He appealed to the folks that they should also reciprocate to some extent for their own sake.

Some of the youth in girls and boys were asked to come to the stage and speak out their feelings and opinion as to how we can improve their conditions and what role they can play in the development.

It was interesting to see that the youth members spoke so well and with substance.The boys and girls also rendered patriotic songs that inspired the audience.

It appeared that they are all getting ready to participate and work together in spite of the kind of a shell they have been living due to the prevailing age old customs and traditions.

After prolonged motivation and push we could get as many as 30 names that were ready to be in committees.

Finally the DP spoke to the audience to say that it is very important for the village to have their own working committees for the development and initially it is only to provide feed back and support and participation in all our activity.Then to take responsibility to carry on.He emphasised that this is not going to load on their work at all nor they have any serious burden.

He assured the village folks that SSSO is going to install a safe drinking water plant on one condition, and that is every house holder must utilize the facility with out exception.The village folks were happy and jubilant to hear this announcement.

At the end of this meet we all went to inaugurate the Tailoring center established in the village for the benefit of 20 girls, willing to learn the tricks of stitching.A teacher has been appointed for training the village girls.We hope and pray that this will pave a away to their prosperity.

Then Sri Srinivas motivated and addressed the newly nominated committe and brifed them on their responsibilities and the future plans.He said that once the names are finalized and firm then we will meet and go ahead with a proper plan.

It is about 10 pm when we concluded this programme and on the way at Thurakapalli, we all had a nice and sumptuous dinner arranged by our Sai Bother Veeraswamy and his team members.By the time we were at home it 12.30 pm
